As for tonight, as we're a little later this time i wouldn't mind trying to cut the macca's stop out of the run and get down there a bit earlier. I'm happy to stop if people want to, but if you could eat before you leave and take snacks we can just stop to top off the tanks for those who need to.

Shane, you bringing helmet, licence etc? Cause seeing as though i haven't filled those two spots, you've technically still got a spot paid for; is the mirage feeling up to a couple of flyers??

That goes for all of you spectating actually, bring long clothes, a helmet and licence if you can, or driver's licence and cash for wakefield licence, cause remember you can 'spectate' from passenger seats.

And if you're staying with us, cash for accomodation. It'll be $25/night.

just throwing this out there, if the rotors turn out to still be in sydney is there anyone that might possibly be able to grab them? but organising it could be a hassle as i probably won't know until quite a bit later unfortunately (like 4pm) so i will be gone by then.

i know it is a PITA and if no-one can that is fine, but if something can be organised it would be great! (possibly Steve, tho i have no idea where u are located)

Roundy, are your current rotors shagged? I think i have a set of rotors in the shed but will have to check when i get home.

Of course if you had just bought the fronts off the GT8 you would be ready to lap in the 1:09s

yeah they are somewhat shagged...nice pedal pulsation and steering wheel shudder
if you do have some that would be pretty good! i was just going to run with the ones i have...my wussy braking they should be ok

also i think i would need more then just your brakes to run 1:09's

I'll have everything except a car to use with me. The Mirage...........the GF would kill me and we are selling it shortly so it's probably not a good idea. I am sending a couple of txt messages now though to see if I can organise a car - I don't like my chances though.

and just got a phone call...apparently my rotors are in dubbo the company had no idea where they were, couldn't even confirm they had left the warehouses in sydney!

so in about 10mins i should know for sure.

Reminds me of the time a rental 7afe corolla manual sedan saw some action... handbraked till it could handbrake no more... (not even slow down let alone lock). Got returned full of dust and the 3000km old tyres completely bald after a 'weekend in sydney'!
