Default Beware: MZ10 And MA61 are not the same rear end! (cheers wilbo)

    Hi all,

After going to the trouble the other day of cutting a soarer in half to dummy up a rear end, with his observant eyes, wilbo discovered that the rear end in a soarer MZ10 is actually different to a MA61 rear end - The soarer is wider!

Im quite lucky he found this out as i was about to spend a lot of money dummying up something that wouldnt fit in my supra...

thought id let you all know, so nobody makes this mistake.

so, cheers wilbo for finding that out for me!

Its just the mounting points for the swing arms on the rear subframe that are different.

The Soarer's are about 30mm further apart.

Thus, inturn, the rear half-shafts are each 15-20mm longer.

The rest of the setup is identical.

And besides, more track = better.

Ahh, is that how much wider it is?

I've been meaning to check, just never got around to getting a spare x-member.
