there made by maule! like all acl forgies are made by maule.maule make very good pistons. shame you cant get the anodised skirts in the 4ag ones like the 308 ones.
another thing about ACL, there bearings are as good as any in the world.
i use clevlite bearing because they do H series bearings. thats the only reason.
they are all fine. the thicker crown gives you a higer saftey margin if you get a hicup in the system,with the added bonus of being able to shave and blend ones with a thicker crown and better alloy to get exact chamber CC

yeah i agree with the ACL bearing esp their race series! I was spewin as they only just came out after my last rebuild so i dont have them in there at the moment but will do when she comes apart again.

Although i have never had any props with their std range!

piston weight for GZE AE92 0.5mm oversize

about 305grams

pin weight = 100grams

total, about 405 grams

the pins are also 4mm wall thickness... i reckon you could take that down a bit

Mick, are the JE, ROss and wiseco all including pins? or no pins??
