MS65 front hubs.
And I can't think of the correct rear diff, but I think the RN47 Hilux ?
You'd want something similar to the AE86 conversion, have a search for that.

the RA40 track is wide enuff not to need the rare RN47 hilux rear end
if you want F series diff use one from a MS112 crown
if you want G series diff use one from any 2wd hilux
and the ms65 hubs are bolt on, you will have to re drill your discs but you may as well upgrade them while your at it

That is, if you ever find someone willing to part with MS65 hubs ... try NZ old car forums maybe?

If in doubt power out
20 series Hilux is 1370mm across, 40 series Hilux is 1410mm across. Hiaces generally 1570mm.
Its not only that, you just have to be willing to pay what people are asking.Originally Posted by 7MA61
I wanted a set then and there, so I paid the $150 he was asking.
I was only seriously looking for about a week.
For some people though, that is too much, and they'll hold out for a long time to get them cheaper.

For the NZ supplies, there are plenty of people over here looking for them as well so not really an option. I picked up two sets relatively cheap (NZ$70 each set) through a bit of luck as I wanted a spare set for my race car in case of damage. Then of course my other project went to 5 stud and now I need to find some more for spares. I do know of a potential source of 5 or 10 sets, but their prices will be crazy (around NZ$200 a set or more) and they refuse to answer e-mails so I have to travel 500kms to get them. Will probably grab one set for now and just keep an eye for any other cheap sets to pounce on. The biggest probelm is the matching MS123 rear hubs, can't find the buggers anywhere.

Was planning to go back in January but looks like my time off has been cancelled so will have to see what happens. If I make it I will nead to get a decent net connection just to upload all the photos.....

Nah pics are no probs there, will PM you a link to some that got posted on another forum. Don't want to advertise the place too much until I get to see if the parts I want are there.

Responding to the topic, don't forget that stud pattern with regard to wheel availability is not just about bolting the wheel up - great, a falcon wheel might bolt up, but it could be the completely wrong offset..
If wheels are the only reason you're changing, i wouldn't bother. There are plenty of wheels available in 4x114.3, which i assume is what an ra40 runs.
