Have all three devices set to activate when the car is broken into.

    We all know that burnouts get a much quicker response from the public and police than almost any other illegal activity
    And pop up p plates!

    A few ideas;

    What you need is a siren >144db; the human pain barrier. Put one under the steering column, and another behind or below the stereo. At such a close distance, the intensity will be skin melting .

    in an efi car; tps, afm/map/maf, crank angle sensor, cam angle sensor, etc.

    A kill switch to the main earth. A 'tap' for the fuel line (with high pressure fittings)

    New cars with fly-by-wire trhottles and clutches etc; kill switch. They can start the vehicle, but cannot change gears or accelerate; only idle.

    Apexi Power FC's have a built in rev limiter; 1000 rpm in some cars is dangerously slow

    alarms these days a good enough if you want to really deter someone. at work today another mechanic told me of a friend's alarm system, that has remote central locking (only operably by remote) and remote kill switches. as well as sat tracking

    Let the theif take the car. choose a busy area to stop; cop shop, places with CCTV cameras, busy intersections etc. Shut off the car. Lock the prick inside. Call the police.

    Or you could report it stolen. tell them which direction it is going. Then stop the car with said lowlife scum inside. Wait until the cops are surrounding the car, and then 'beep' unlock the car.

    Put some drugs, a gun, and a sack of cash on the passenger seat. They might see it, go through the goodies, put their finger prints on them, and have a long holiday.

    The VL guys are the most paranoid, but guys with rotors and skylines i know have some prettys crazy stories;

    Black R33 in locked brick garage, bolted to ground.alarm, immobilizers, etc. Bedroom next to garage. Sh!tfighter car parked behind 33 with alarm etc.
    The guy woke up to his dog barking and an empty garage.

    A VL turbo, where the guy takes the AFM, ECU and Steering wheel with him everywhere he goes. still has alarms etc, and still gets targeted.

    There is also an rx3 that got stolen 4 times by the same guy, all with protection.

    Regarding the premeditation; you won't get caught depending on which forest you take them to in the boot, how far in you go, and how deep you bury them.

    really the best and no cost alarm is pulling the engine fuse and leaving it{or you can loose it and be stuffed} on its side in the engine bay main fuse box and closing the lid! Its not that much of a hassle and works well.
    Very few if any thief will ever find what you have done. That might just get you through to saving up for quicktrack system etc.

    oldie, but a goodie!.
