I'll be doing this on Sunday. I'll try to remember to put up the spacer's exact measurements too.

Not yet. It either goes together Saturday or I'll know what needs to be changed.

Im hearing rumours that if you run BA discs you can replace the spacer with a washer as the discs are offset more??????

the rotors on r32 or z32 are 280x30 on r33 or r32 gtr they are 298x30 or 32 respectively.
    i have r32 on my 3sgte ae71
r33 on my yn57 hilux and on my sz10 im building i have 324x32 r33 gtr brakes.
just make sure when you purchase the calipers that they have the correct lug height as all the nissan sumitomo calipers will bolt straight on but they have different heights to suit different rotor diameters.

my spacers are 30x20x135 and everything bolts straight on no worries.
with ba disks the spacers only need to be 8mm thick as they have a different hat height.
but they are a 298mm rotor so r33 calipers will have to be run and you can get these behind a 15" rim with the right offset.

So the BA conversion has been done?

How thick are the BA discs?

havn't done the ba conversion on a hilux but hav on a cressida and other cars so i know most of the offsets.
    the rotors should be 298x30mm
on mx83 i use 12mm spacers with r33 rotors and calipers but no spacer with same caliper on a ba disk .the offset gives more caliper to rim clearance making rim choice easier
i see no reason why ba rotors and r33gtst calipers wont fit on a lux.

I had a go at fitting my R32 setup today, but couldn't fit the rotors to the hubs. Here's what I got so far.
The calipers are HC R32 (GTS-t type M/RB20DET). These are spaced out with a steel block measuring 132x20x35mm and held by high tensile bolts measuring 50x13mm (unsure on the thread type). I also ground about 2mm off one of the long edges so it butted up to the caliper nicely.
The rotors are DBA909SL/R. The center hole has to be machined. I had mine machined to the same size as a standard Hilux rotor because I had a brain fart at the time.
The Hilux hub has to have its outer edge machined down. I'm not sure how much as I just gave the machine shop a rotor to trial fit.
I used the OEM Hilux metal tube and bent it to suit the R32 caliper.
Backing plates are not needed in Queensland.

How much do you think needs machining off the inside of the rotor?

I'm going BA Ford discs. Autobarn have 10% off DBA at the moment making BA discs 95 each

The outer edge of the hub also needs machining. I tried measuring its diameter and its wider then my verniers (greater then 150mm) and this is close to the outer diameter or the rotors (refer to the picture above).

I'm going to order a spare hub to experiment on from Tweed Coast 4x4 LTD.

These guys specialise in Hiluxs and should be able to get anything.
