    Its 1450mm wide though, you can get away with that on a KE70 but the KE30 is a bit narrower.

    its goin to cost me $450 too get a 31 diff cut down for my rolla, but might be even cheaper, as me and my bro are playing with cuttin are n ones down at home, so far were goin good, just getting the tubess out nowww, the will cut it down and weld back up in a jig, then all we have to do is use ther two shorter side axles or get them cut for like 150 or 200?

    Keep in mind with axles when you cut the tubes, that the axles can only be shotened a minimum of 100mm. There is a difference of 50mm between the lengths of r31 axles (short to long)

    Any idea on how much lighter an R31 diff would be compared to a Hilux?

    Well i should be able to weight the r31 diff cause im pulling one out today.

    yeah i know that you have to cut it down past the point were the spline is origanaly cut the dam oxy rran out off gas so couldnt get the diff housin tube out have to get more gas and then will do it
