I know a 100kw 4age flywheel fits in a adm sprinter rwd bellhousing.

i ran into this same problem, what you need to get is a flywheel from an early gt-s 84-87 it is slightly smaller than anything after that, do not get an early mr-2 as it is larger in diameter. and anything after 87 is too big as well. the 20v flywheels are too big as well (this is what i was putting in mine and found that the flywheel is too big) 1st gen 4age flywheel is what you need.
The GZE flywheel will fit in the bellhousing provided you do some clearancing.. If you use hex cap bolts you will need to clearance less.
Be aware that anything you don't clearance will clearance itself and it will not be pretty, but if you are strapped for cash it's an option (not a good option, just an option, but better than welding up and redrilling a 6 bolt flywheel).

yeah thats correct 20v wont fit, ze obviously wont fit, need a 16 v flywheel
okie dokie? i am almost feeling like i shhould neg rep both blinky and deft' youre both wrong,
20v flywheel WILL fit. definately. theyre dimensionally identical to smallport ect.. same ring gear, same depth and accept the same clutch, which is 212mm. if you use a 212 it should be noted if you buy a kit, the realease bearing wont work, youll need one ment for an ae86.
deft maybe your 200mm clutch wont fit you 212 fly, but a 212 fly WILL fit any rwd bell.
Dimitri's 100% correct. I also had a smallport/20V 212mm flywheel in my 4agte KE70 with ADM T50 box from an AE71.
seeing where talking flywheels and bellhousings...
i know my 225mm gze flywheel fits in the c52 (212mm) bellhousing, but does anyone know if the gze pressure plate fits into the c52 with out fouling anything.
If that is true why can i not fit the S/T flywheel in my bellhousing even AFTER shaving down the inside?Originally Posted by Dimitri
I agree with you that the smallport/gze/20v flywheels are identical in size, but bigport (86kw) flywheels are slightly smaller
just to add. the 7 rib bigport has a 212mm clutch/flywheel. the early 3 rib bigports have the 200mm one.Originally Posted by DeftAnesthetik
How sure are you that you have the original "correct" flywheel? Where does it foul? Do you have photographs? Is it possible you actually had a GZE flywheel? - that's the only one that needs clearancing and even then it's quite hard to get right (the fouling is due to the "standoffs" that the pressure plate mounts do; to my knowledge all the other flywheels do not have the standoffs and the "bell" shape of the pressure plate doesn't come close to the bellhousing).Originally Posted by DeftAnesthetik
I haven't played with RWD 4AGE stuff for a very long time, but I do remember the 20V flywheels were a commonly accepted "upgrade" for a RWD mated to a T50... If they genuinely didn't fit, it's unlikley the above assertion would have stood for so many years.
Edit: Deft - what car was your setup going into? You can't assume the Tercel transmission bellhousing is the same size as a T50 bellhousing?!

i never actually said that. gze ones are bigger.Originally Posted by DeftAnesthetik

this shouldnt even be a discussion. all thats going to happen here is people are going to read misinformation.
lock/delete.
What's happening here is that we are trying to answer a different question than what has been asked. GOLDTA22 is asking what will fit into a 4A rwd (i am asuming it is a 4a-c) and not a GE. All 4A-GE/ZE flywheels will fit into a T-50. However if it is a RWD 4a-c the transmission maybe different and may not fit the "standard" flywheel. if that is the case then i can confirm that the bigport (86kw) flywheel is smaller and works for me in my setup. We are only talking approximately 10mm smaller but enough to make it fit. I am sorry i do not wish to mis-inform anyone. just hoping to help with this problem.
Deft you are WRONG. 4AGZE 225mm flywheels will not fit the T50 Bellhousing without modification to the bellhousing for clearancing (as Mos said above).
Lets Recap.
4AG(Z)E engine (8-bolt flywheel) - T50 Bellhousing. The following flywheel/clutch combinations fit WITHOUT MODIFICATION.
AE82 4A-GE Bigport 200mm flywheel/clutch
AE86 4A-GE Bigport 200mm flywheel/clutch
AW11 4A-GE Bigport 200mm flywheel/clutch
AE92 4A-GE Smallport 212mm flywheel/clutch
AE101 4A-GE Silvertop 212mm flywheel/clutch
AE111 4A-GE Blacktop 212mm flywheel/clutch
The following DO NOT fit without modification
AW11 4A-GZE Bigport 225mm flywheel/clutch
AE92 4A-GZE Bigport 225mm flywheel/clutch
AE92 4A-GZE Smallport 225mm flywheel/clutch
AE101 4A-GZE Smallport 225mm flywheel/clutch
