Experience Understeer in a Front Wheel Drive Shitbox.

The vehicle you will be driving is a Nissan Datsun Pulsar Exa Turbo.
The test will begin as a rolling start before several sweeping bends, some of which you will need to break mid-corner, you will experience the car understeering no matter what you do. Try and turn whilst you accelerate, trust me it wont happen! You goal is to complete the section of this circuit without falling of the corners.

and this might sound odd, but why would someone who doesn't own a toyota want to join a toyota forum? does she want to buy a toyota?

she already reads the forum, and has been for AGES!! she does quite like toyota's, and would absolutely love to get an RA28 with a 3S-GTE in it (i reckon a 1UZ would be better ) but until then she will stick with her scorpion

i am fairly sure she has a good idea about what is going on here so i highly doubt any stupid posts!

Yeah i know its just the first thing that popped into my head when i saw the thread title..

I would like it if my girlfriend was that into cars and wanted to learn more..
Unfortunatley she just gives me filthys when i say im going to work on one of the cars and tells me i spend more time working on my cars than i do working on her... lol

you can make that 3 kirsty, me and my BF dont have any problems... actually, IM the one telling HIM to stop working 7 days a week so he can get his car back on the road And he has to let me help whether he likes it or not

Ive been working on anything mechanical since i was a kid, i have baby photos of me under a car with a spanner! I always just thought I was wierd, or was meant to be a boy and something went wrong at birth .... And I dont think I could EVER go out with a guy that WASNT into cars....

I would like it if my girlfriend was that into cars and wanted to learn more..

My gf is not into cars, but is kind of willing to learn - it actually feels quite weird to be explaining stuff (this belt drives these cams, these lobes push on these buckets which open these valves which allow air from these runners (mixed with fuel from these injectors) to enter into this combustion chamber, which gets ignited by this spark plug, blah blah..)... she can explain everything in almost the same level of detail but yet I know she has absolutely no interest in the subject! Her willingness to learn about the subject is purely because of my interest (not sure if I'm putting the point across terribly well....) It will still be a long time (if at all) before she takes part, as she finds it terribly boring, but at least she has a slightly better understanding of the passion (after talking to other people's gf's about how they cope ...)

What you need to start doing is working (a lot) on other people's cars, then you only get the death stares (and silences) when you're not working on your own car. (but the overall amount of death stares will end up being higher, so I'm not sure I've got this worked out quite right )
