Well this jaycar kit can do one of the things you want; to set a delay time before your interior light turns off (like that link). Not sure about the rest tho.

I want to make my ra23 interior light and headlights be controlled like the new cars do these days, you know unlock the car remotely and the light turns on, leave car door open for certain amount of time and interior light turns off, light stay on for 15 seconds after door shuts with soft fade off, forget to turn off headlights and they automaticly turn off etc, etc, etc.
Does anyone know of any aftermarket alarm systems that have these features or any aftermarket gadgets that'll do the same thing, i've tried searching google but havent found much coz im not really sure what to be looking 4.
The only thing i've found is this site http://home.tiscali.nl/markhome/inside.html of some guy who made ainterior light control himself but i dont think im capable of doing that.
I spose you could also get the device that controls it out of a newish car from the wreckers or something like that, anyway looking forward to yor replies.

If you bought that jaycar kit and wired it up to the wire that runs from the remote unit (alarm i guess?) to the door lock control box, it should switch the light on with the doors and then dim. Pretty sure that'll work.
My alarm system fitted to my RA28 will turn on the interior light when you disarm and then it turns off after a short time or will turn off as soon as you start to turn the key on.
Cant remember the brand but was fitted by a company here cost around $360, does central locking, shock sensor and a few other things,
Headlights may be another story as the holden type uses the body control module for all its security and headlight control/cruise control etc
Cheers
