Metalcat is the absolute goodness! However, I don't have any dyno results of before and after...lets just say 3rd gear is sweeet as compared to when I had a Magnaflow hi-flow cat.

Apparently Magic Cat is cat king...but I've never seen one before.

Ray, I ran my 1JZ on the stock 1GGTE fuel pump up untill now without any issues at all, it stayed nice and rich all the way through the rev range

I dont know if they are the same but 7MGE's have bigger injectors than 1GGTE's so I reckon the 7MGE fuel pump would flow the same if not more pressure than the 1G one

from personal experiance the 7MGE fuel pump is not enough, it does lean out past 4000rpm quite badly, i even had mine test before and after the fuel pump swap, and now she runs rich as a biatch

2DRFT did it ever occur to you that maybe your 7MGE fuel pump was myabe cactus?

im telling you from personal experience i.e. 10 track days...the 1G fuel pump will run the 1JZ no worries

considering ive seen 2-3 conversions of the 1j into a70 shell, and they all were 7mge's and all leaned out, i guess all there fuel pumps were cactus *sigh*

Oddly enough I ran the stock ma70 7m-ge manual fuel pump and it was fine - actually it ran too rich at the top end (past 4K rpm).

My advice is to suck it and see (check it on a dyno before you change anything) - a $30 power run (which you prob want to get anyway) is cheaper than spending money on a fuel pump upgrade that amy or may not be necessary.

could be the SA fuel pumps lumpy...maybe they operate differently to the eastern states...

kind of like the USA/AUS toilets spinning backwards perspective

The coriolis effect for fuel pumps perhaps????

SA is the greatest state ever...!!!!oneoneone!!
    Our supra pumps roxor!!!!!eleventybilliononeone

To add some sanity, can anyone check via the EPC if the part numbers for NA and turbo ma70/71 fuel pumps are different?
