Hey Clint. Well we CCGans are leaving at 8.30 am on Friday 6th. Heading up through Molong, Cudal and Cowra to Dubbo. Hoping to get all the CCG cars together like previous years with CB socialising along the way. Most will be heading back mid-late morning on the Monday. Only a 4 hour-ish drive for us Canberrans.Originally Posted by Peter Costello

UPDATE - We are getting organised for another assault on the TOYOTA Nationals this Easter in Dubbo from 6-9 April. So far we already have 18 people booked in from Canberra, that I know of, with LOTS of others that are interested in going too.
If you wish to stay at Dubbo and enter the Saturday Shownshine or the Sunday Drags, the forms can found at http://www.toyota-nationals.org.au/ (even has a pic of Tweety on the front page!).
We will be leaving Canberra on Friday 6 April at 8.30am from the truck stop on the Barton Highway just out of Hall as per previous years. All are welcome to join in on the cruise as this is not just for CCG members. Accommodation is at the Matilda Motor Inn but rooms are completely booked from what we hear. If still considering going we suggest you call the Matilda on 02 6882 3944 or have a look at the TOYNATS site http://www.toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=15434 for more info.
Tips for those who have not previously attended are:
- CBs (Channel 16) are a must for those cruising as we can all keep together and entertain those cruising alone in their ride.
- BYO grog with you for Friday/Friday night to Dubbo as the bottlos will be closed due to Easter Friday….VERY IMPORTANT!!!
- Bring hat, sunblock , sunnies , camera etc and even a chair for the drags.
Cheers

Hi all, just letting you know that a family room became available and there were still 2 doubles available. Cheers and see you all at Dubbo![]()
Hi CCGans
Received a call last night from the Toyota Nationals organisers that they have received low entry numbers for the Nationals Drags on Easter Sunday. They have asked if anyone is considering running that they please enter their car as they need more numbers to ensure the Dubbo City Car Club will run the event. At this rate if we cant produce better numbers then it is looking piss poor for next year.
Admittedly, the cost is $65 ($80 if you don’t enter the ShownShine) but this year they have especially made it general racing so you can go grudge racing against your mate or anyone you like just for fun. (ie., no more bracket/ET classes etc.) As Grant said last night, its no harder on your car than a Saturday night out in Civic! Money can even be paid on the Sunday morning of the drags. So if you considering running please let me know and Ill pass onto the management.
Don’t forget that even tho Dubbo is a fair drive, all Yota fans are welcome to just lob and enjoy the sights and sounds!
Cheers
