    Default Where do you service/tune

Sorry to not make good utilization of your search utility but I am at work, and do not have internet at home, I just need some advice.

Me and 2 mates recently acquired turbo cars in canberra; I have a mechanic who can perform the basic repairs and servicing I need, but where do others in Canberra get this and tuning (ecu) done specifically in turbo cars.

How are their rates and do you reccomend the quality of their work, likewise if you know of any places NOT to go to please advise, I am wanting to set up a regular thing for all 3 of us.

Thankyou for your time and patience, may my rep survive the surely upcoming scathing attack of "Use Da Search NiGgA" negs repping.

    Cheers!

They have to accrew enough for nose reconstructions as well as feeding his mime family. The dont talk much so they never need much water for their dry mouths.

What ECUs are you and your mates running?

    Standard or programmable?

    What brand?

True it's probably not the right section but it's ACT specific so I can understand why it's here.

It would have been fine in the general section too.

I like the cut of your Jib.

    But yeah;
2 of us have stock ecu's on our Starlet GT's the other has a microtech LT8S with handset.

Yeah, I just went for an ACT specific area of the site to try and minimalise the wrath.

I'll check back in an hour or two

Probably somewhere like Autotech might be the go - never heard anything bad about them and their business is based on a solid reputation (been around for years). They are proficient in tuning aftermarket ECUs etc.

The two cars with factory ECUs would be getting a service rather than a "tune" as there isn't anything that'll be altered in the ECU. Probably just a check of the base timing and that'll be it. The rest is just changing the consumables/repairs - plugs, oil, filters etc.

You could always ask to have it run up on the dyno just for your own piece of mind if you've upped the boost or done a few mods etc.

Give them a ring, tell them what you're after and see what they quote
