Axle tramp is the axles physically bouncing up and down and losing contact with the road.
Chattering can be because of the wrong fluid, but it also can be because the LSD is fucked, as was the case with my old one.
Okay, i got mixed up on what the problem that i have is. I blame that on my dad he called it axel tramp![]()
So yes i get chattering when taking tight corners at low speed sometimes, thats my problem. I'll have to go out and buy some Penrite Limslip.

Hang on... With the TruTrac LSD, you use standard diff oil? If not, bugger... down goes the diff for another refill of LSD oil. I got told to run standard diff oil for TruTrac LSDs...Originally Posted by CrUZida

TruTrac you can run either.
There aren't many hypo oils out there that are designed for non-lsd.

the truetrac is designed to run on the same oil designed for the stock diff.
Of course, you put a high quality diff in, and it's generally a good idea to put a high quality oil in... Penrite SIN, Elf, and Redline all make diff oil suitable for the ma61 stock diff (and truetrac), and are also top quality products (and very exxy)
Changed the oil over to Penrite Limslip today and havn't had any chatter today at all. So all is looking good. But there was a nice mm or 2 of metal shavings on the plug when i took it out and the oil had already gone a dark brown colour from a nearly clear colour in like 4 days. I thought that was a bit odd.
On a side note, I thought as CrUZida said, the Truetrac doesn't *require* LSD oil persay, but most of the decent oils are.
Must keep track of how the Sin performs, my car has only seen 5000km or so, and is already pouring oil out the breatherThat or I should drive it more gently....nah.
