my gen 2 has 6 wires but not 8??

Hi,

I will get a photo of it. It's definitely the TPS.

"Throttle Sensor - 39452-30040"

It has 2 large yellow connectors that attach from the main loom to the throttle sensor.

The first connector has 6 wires - Blue, Black, Green, Light Yellow, Purple, Tan

The Second connector has two Tan wires coming out of it and going to the throttle position sensor.

while we are on TPS's what should the ohms reading be at closed throttle/ idle.
and across which pins
btw its a gen3

search for the supra mk III TSRM.

same values for nearly all the sensors on the 7m

Well definately it's the TPS I'm looking, counted those wires and there is 8.

The above picture shows 2 connectors going to the TPS, the one on the left has 6 wires.
The one on the right has the other 2 wires which I cant find on any wiring diagram. What are they?

Hey people, Just a small one, I'm doing a engine conversion 1GGEU - 1GGTE.

My current 1GGEU body loom has a 4 pin "main EFI" relay plug but, the 1GGTE engine wiring loom has a 6 pin "main EFI" relay plug. Does anyone know what I can do. Unfortunately i cant tell what Gen my engine is or what its out of. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmmm... i think the 4 pin is the main power relay & you will find that the 6 pin is the Fuel relay..

Hey everyone, I've been trying to wire up a 1JZ my mate Jake's GZ20. But have run into a problem with the main wiring behind the glovebox. It's different to the normal body plug, it has more wires, including 3 that go across the top. I can't find the diagrams for this plug anywhere on the net.

i had that plug on my 1g engine loom for a gen 3.

this pic is off the wiring diagrams and is pretty close to it.. the three thick wires in the middle should be blk/white, blk/blue and blk/red. on mine they were for neutral switch and the blk/red might have needed ign power.
i couldn't find anything for a gz20 or supra for the body wiring, good luck

Got a Gen 3 motor, but have gen 2 (yellow) injectors, will they work? I'm practically done with the build. Cheers

Which computer is driving the injectors? gen 1/2 are low impedance and gen 3 are high impedance
