i hate to say it, but in this case, the honda would win.... but the crayolla is at a disadvantage... revs/displacement/etc.

    Crayola - i like that

its pretty easy atm to judge

Nim - 97 KW at the wheels

Phrosted-nibbles - Hmms - 70 ATW tops , most likely alot less with the Exhaust mods you have !

Even with a GZE youd still be lucky to break nims figure - though the torque curve would be a lot stronger id guess

LOL, bird poo Supra! That's gold!

You probably would have a decent chance if you dropped it to 1100kg. But that's a lot of weight to drop.

    Yessir, bringing it asap

Yeah Ryley, should be lots of fun trying to gain traction, or watching the front of the car fly into the air when I do get traction hahahah.

Still can't find my damn camera!!! I must have dropped it at one of the last meet spots or something arrrgh. Not cool.

I had a chat with MotoMan from the Toyota Owners Club of Australia, who were invited along to the cruise by a post from weaponx on their forums asking for numbers to make it a "big turnout" etc..

It seems that they felt like outsiders and were unwelcome at the event, nobody wanted to talk to them etc. From the toymods perspective I suppose it seemed that they were sticking together and didn't want to mix with us, and it was perhaps thought that they were a bit stuck-up.

I see this as a misunderstanding and quite unfortunate, we are all toyota owners, whether our cars are old or new... or even re-badged. Having had a chat with Dave (MotoMan) it's obvious that they share the same passion for toyota's as we do and like to modify their cars, all of the sportivo's had atleast cold air intake mods and were lowered. Remember also that these cars are less than 2 years old... there's not much you are going to do to a car when it's that young, especially with such a nice engine as the 2ZZ, which hammers quite nicely in stock form as it is, I'm sure Jezza can attest to this.

I'd like to see them at one of the future meets that we hold and perhaps have more of a chat with em about the newer toyotas.

It was a fantastic cruise, wish I'd had a passenger to take more photo's, heck even a stereo would have been sweet... let's be a bit more open to people next time we invite them to come along eh?

    Welp,

Initially I didn't know that they were invited etc. And MotoMan was denied membership to the forums so he wasn't able to say "hey, we're coming along to the cruise, thanks for invite" etc.

Anyway, I too wanna see how the stivo's take to the hills

They came through those hills just before the GOR with us, most of you guys were a fair way ahead if I remember right... I was right behind them the whole way... DAMN they handle nice, they lost me a few times. Was funny to see them overtake eachother suddenly, you'd see one pop out, accelerate for a few seconds, pop in infront of the next guy, then the guy that just got overtaken would pop out and take his place back hahahah.

Now that I think about it I do feel bad for not going over and saying hello to 'em. I'm sure we'll make the next meet much more inviting though.

    Cheers,
    Kev.
