1JZ auto problems

I was wondering if anyone can please help me.

My car wont shift into overdrive.

1st,2nd,3rd no probs.

Theres error code 42 coming up(speed sensor) but that error codes been there since i did the conversion.

Has anyone else heard of this problem before?

Have you had ovadrive since doing the conversion.

Have you replaced the speed sensor?

If SP2 is only connected it should still shift. With the OD wire from the ECU, don't ground it or have it connected as it will not go into 4th. Leave the wire un connected and it will go into 4th (that is with a JZX90 ECU)...

The overdrive has worked sfor 2 years now until last week.

I found the problem guys.

The ECU is stuffed.

I tried Bradens(Ribfeast) ECU and o/d worked.
