Default 4age water temp sensors, are they the same?

I think my water tempreture sensor might be stuffed on my 20V, but my local autobahn store only has a ae92 4age sensor, is this the same?

check the curve in teh manuals, pretty sure they would be, no reason for toyota to make a new sensor every time they add another valve to an engine

Are you referring to the temp sensor for the computer or the temp sensor for the gauge? If it's the gauge sensor then its the same as a SV21 Camry, If it's the computer one - what has you suspecting the temp gauge is stuffed? They are pretty reliable. I'm pretty sure they are the same as the AE92 - same connector anyway.

I was just about to add that comment, Its the ecu sendor. I ask because my 20v isnt running well, it has a high idle, runs rich and has bad fuel economy. I am running out of options and I would like to give this one a go.
