regarding the ma70 fuel pump, BIN IT!

it is not enough for the 1jz even in stock trim,

just doesnt give enough flow past 4000rpm leans out in a big big way.

how long he planing on staying stock 1jz?
    what future mods?
did he get the 1jz fuel pump in the halfcut? (and why not if he didn't)
and if he didn't how they test the cut for you?

    abit risky imo.

Everything i have heard about the Walbros has been good, especially if you are just going to use a stock engine. They tend to be a bit quieter than the Bosch ones. If you are intending on going overboard with the engine the Walbro may not suffice, and i would be looking towards running a surge tank with a Bosch Motorsport pump.

    yeah im with 2DRFT here..

the ma70 stocko will handle it.. just. the GE pumps less than the GTE... thats why the injector sizes are different.. but for a couple of hundred bucks you might as well get a 265lph walbro jobbie.. its going to be worth it in the longrun..

2drft: Size doesnt matter much, the 040 Bosch pumps arnt much bigger than the VL turbo pumps.

Doing this will carry massive fines if your friend gets yelow stickered, and they find out.
