The thing is if you've been ripped off it's more than likely by someone who is a forum member and not a financial member. The board and its members are the financial members who fork out the bill for the rest of us and would be very easy to track down if they did try to rip anyone off. That being said, if they're willing to support Toymods I don't think these are the kinds of people we have to worry about
I wouldn't personally mind if there was a trader rating but then the idea of this new forum is to be more technical and not be a mini-ebay. I think the best thing you can do to protect yourself is to click on the user's name and find other posts they've made and have a look whether they've sold stuff in the past. You can then send the buyer(s) a PM and ask them how it went and decide whether the seller is trustworthy or not. This is what I do particularly on forums that I don't visit as often.
