    Yeah Im running VMX80 but I suspect that the problem is in a corroded slector shaft (or a bent one), the box is unknown origin and it is very stiff in 4th not so stiff in 2nd.

    Sadly I don't think its a problem oils can fix only disassembly, but thats ok I am becoming an expert on Toyotas after all these years.

    Agreed. If there's something mechanically amiss or worn in the box then there is no oil in the world that will fix it. Sure, it may mask it a little, but in the end the box (or the suspect part) will eventually break or wear-out beyond specs and cause grief.
