actually, I've got a completely custom one in place of the stock one. But if you want to keep the stock piping, then block off the second one.

on the back of the above, i have a stock 1ggte and am wanting to go with single turbo - my biggest concern is wanting the boost to come on earlier than the 3000-3500rpm that it currently comes on boost - is single turbo the way to go - 6 cylinders into 1 turbo vs 3 cylinders makes sense???
go for a smaller turbo, say a gt28rs, I had one previously on my 1g and I got 230rwkw, dyno graph is in my thread, shows boost threshold.

hey guys just wanted to know if a gt35 would be too big fo a 1g i wanna put 550cc injector and run acout 14psi would the gt35 be overkill or a pig to drive on the road
also im after a sump and starter motor if anyone has any cheers
why those numbers and that turbo?
why not pick a power figure and work out your most efficient and effective way of getting there?

yeah i just read somewhere that 550cc injectors are easy to get hold of and cheap i wanna get enough power to drag a mates r100 13b rotor with 300kw so i think ill have to aim for about similar power
14 psi wont get you enough power to beat a r100 with 300kw unless you car weight less by a fair bit
its in a 81 hilux so prob will be a bit heavier what size injectors are people upgrading to??
300kw 1g's are a rare thing, i love the 1g but if your not lucky it will cost heaps either in building a decent motor or just going through them.
yeah i might just aim for 200kw at the wheel for a start whatever i can safely run after that can be a bonus
