    my valve seats and valves were done at $16 trade each (thats seat and valve faced) I took my head to Motor IMprovements St.Kilda. Nice guys, do good work and will explain shit if you actually have no idea either...not that i needed it.

    do the valves always have to be done? also how much can be taken off with the traditional abrassive paste?

    if there is a score or a pit, get them reseated
    if they are just a bit shiny you get away with doing them with the paste
    but IMHO if you are going to the cost of rebuilding a motor, why cheap out on the last step?
