    Cruzida has mounts? Interesting

PS, I've been scoping the 1UZ's out

$1200 for engine and $2200 for a half cut. But it might feel a little out of place in the MA61 I dunno. Would it be better suited for an MA70?

No MA61 much better lighter and secretely yearns for a V8, it has a very muscle car shape and needs one in it for the ultimate sound.
    If in doubt power out

    I'm getting goosebumps

If I could have the us spec rear I think it would be a no brainer, I just wish I could change the 'celica' look Spoiler would be a good start, and twin zorst on the ma61 would be interesting

    Something like this?

That says 7M, even if it's 5MGE manifold it wont fit the 5ME.

Fits 5/6/7MG. Definately not 5ME, although it has the same port spacing.

Weld on new flange you say? Blow the 5ME pistons through the hood of the MA61 you say? I think I hear a challenge coming on

As nice as it sounds, I think the idea of a big beasty 1UZ beats it

Also the MA61 has way more room between the strut towers to actually fit a v8 in it, you'd actually be able to change plugs without pulling bits out of the engine bay

    LOL

I've just been looking through the list of Toyota stuff they have there, I like this in the description of a 7m-gte engine package:

"guarantee note - Head gasket will not be covered under guarantee. Engine tests OK. A new gasket will be supplied"

Hahaha - they should have supplied that warning with every ma70/71.

This 1UZ talk is shameful as well. The ma61 deserves a v8 with as much street cred and performance ability as a 5m-E. It's time for a 253.
