    That woudl be sweet. You would probably only have to measure from the wheel mounting face back to the disc hat. We already know where that sits on the XT130 gear.

    My 1UZ RA28 Celica project has had a bit of a change in plans.

    Ill be taking the MS65 hubs off, and putting the RT132 hubs on... so ill be able to tell you guys the deal with that soon.

    I worked out what my problem was. I received the wrong spring hat therefore meaning it could follow the spring down when the car was being jacked up.

    great guide takia!! ive already started whoreing parts for my conversion

    BUT!! is it possible to weld the celica spring seats/perches onto the corona struts? i ask this cos i have already bought kings for the 22 and i dont wanna return them (cos i cant find a receipt too)

    Yeah you can weld the spring lower perches on, there is a tiny bit on that before i go into coilovers. I would appreciate some pictures of yours once they are done if possible, that way i can update that section of the guide.

    ur the only reason im attempting this, if u didnt explain it in such black and white terms i would have never thought of it. ive disassembled the strut except for the spring cos i cant find my compressors, get my chassis stands from a mates place, get his welder and go nuts ill try and remember to get pics

    You dont need spring compressors just undo the nut and let her fly!!!!!!!!!! Jks do this at your own risk.

    hahah bin there done that a mate lost a windscreen cos we thought it would be cool....

    sorry to keep spamming this thread chris i have discovered i actually have 1 rt132 and 1 rt133 strut, pissed off i got the calipers out, and there is very little difference they are *for all intensive purposes* exactly the same, also LN130 calipers are exacly the same as LN106, 1 was a hilux the other was a hilux surf

    I believe none. Dont they get bolted together? Are you talking standard spring hat or coil-overed?
