nooooo... a pair of new webers?
As nice as a carbied 18RG is, if you're looking to spend that much on new ones + pay someone to tune them, I'd suggest to go EFI. I know it sounds like a lousey cop-out, but I've seen many complete running EFI 18RGEU's for under a grand. I don't think you'd get a new set of webers for much less than thatBut that is just my suggestion.
If you do decide to go carby for historic sake, I know there are a couple of *ahem, more senior* guys in the Canberra Celica Group that know their way around celicas and carbies. I won't post their names for fear of getting hassled by everyone with a rough set of old solex's, but if you get a new set i'm sure they wouldn't mind passing on some tips to a fellow toymodder.
