That sounds like an informed opinion. I better tell all those 304 owners running 12 sec times in VN/VPs with street tyres and few $$ spent that they have pox motors and obviously those times were a mistake.Originally Posted by Robbos_Toyotas
And of course all those older school commos and kingas were shitfully underpowered when running quick times.
Personally I wouldn't bother with a 253 conversion, but if you've already got the bits there, and can fabricate/fix a few things then why not give it a shot. At least the parts are cheap for holden engines! A 4 barrel carb from a 308 and a bit of a decent cam could be good for a laugh.
BTW I think it's the sound of an 8, the economy of a 6 and the performance of a 4 in relation to 253's!![]()
you know what I mean this electric stream
and my tears in league with the
wires and energy and my machine
this is my beautiful dream
hey all 253 is on hold atm just going to run the car stock to start off with. I am thinkin of buyin a torana or something to stick the motor in
if i were you
if find something bigger
then ull go faster and do bigger burnout
and probly die in the process
but u will die with good burnouts
so id be happy
540 chev twin turbo wourld be alright
LOL i give the 253 2 corners before something lets go and you'll get to spin in your own dropped oil![]()
