Sorry could only get one shot before battery went flat, now trying to find cable for computer.. will get new batterys and get some pics tomorrow.

Bottom pulley was 2 belt 18r then i found a 5PK bottom pully 557mm circ at the wreckers.
i got the inside of original pully turned out so new one was a tap fit into it then welded in place.

waterpump pulley was a power steering pulley from a hyundia
i cut of the shaft and got the inside turned out so it slid over the original waterpump pully.

Truing this up was easy but it pulled from the heat when welded so i had tokeep rotating it and true it with hammer and punch.

Mounting bracket is a piece of 25x25x3 rhs welded to the left hand engine mount pionting forward with 2 mounting tabs from 10mm flat welded to it for the bottom supercharger mounts.

top mount is just a piece of angle bolted to the head and another to top sc mount with a piece of threaded rod and a couple of nuts to adjust belt.

Had to cut the sc14 outlet in half and rotate 180 and reweld so the bend pointed up towards the inlet manifold.

I have a 350 holly on top the sc14 with 64 main jets

Belt runs true, Pumps 7.5 psi and drop back to 17" vaccuum at idle..Couldnt hope for any better. Idles like a shopping car. Should be very drivable and reliable with low boost.

Gave it a rev and spun just over 10,000 easily....

Purrs like a kitten but it will scream when i punch it.

Will gladly explain it all on the phone to anyone interested.

Need to think about timing settings.?

Dissy was rebuilt and graphed to reach max 24 @4500 + 12 static = 36 total.

I think this should come come down now with sc.

Anybody thats turboed or supercharged one of these got any input please.

my old low-compression 18R turbo was
~20 degrees at idle (with vacuum port connected)
max mechanical advance of about 10 degrees @ 3000 rpm

it might pay to look for boost-retard dashpots at the wreckers and adapt to the 18RG dizzi.

I just go to Supercheap/Autobarn/whatever and flip through the oil filter catalog. I wouldn't bother talking to any of the monkeys behind the counter.

2JZ-GTE filter = Z418 (or V022 i think)................suprsingly the same as my remote filter thing that came on the car.

For future reference. But to save you the trouble the 18R-G use BP6EA (NGK that is).

P.S 10200RPM... Very cool as long as it doesn't go bang!

Hey everyone, im a newbi to the forum. I dont know much about force-feeding the 18RG but just thought i would let you all know that if your got a bit of spare time and a bit of knowhow (and low on cash $) its not to difficult to set up your 18RGEU with the old (but fully programmable) GM Delco ECU. You can pick up a loom & ECU for less than $100 at a wreckers (JE camira) and get all the sensors fairly cheap. The only real difficulty is adapting the Camira Ignition module to the 18RG. Give us a yell if you want some info.

Anyone else had a go at adapting the Delco ECU?
