    Default coolant flush on 3TGTE

My corona is up for a service and the thermostat is stuck open so obviously i need to replace it. It makes sense to replace the coolant at the sametime. My question is, is there a bleed vavle anywhere on the engine to release air after filling it up? And is it safe to use Nulon engine oil flush on these engines? cheers

    what car do you have?

the radiator should be filled up from the highest point which is usuallyy the radiator cap BUT the Mazda Astinia 323 are filled from on top of the engine as their radiators are situated below the motor and hence the waters highest point is not at the radiator...

i do not see an issue using the engine oil flush as long as it is in the engine and not the radiator

    cheers...

To make sure the radiator is the highest point of my cooling system in my wagon, I just jack the front of the car up while I run it with the cap off to bleed the system
