sounds like the knock sensor wire is almost there.....doesnt need much to get it wired up by the sounds of it.

Once that is eliminated we can check for other codes aswell, then start looking for boost leaks, more often than not there will be a dirt mark where the leak is, especially if it on the cooler or any other aluminium bits.
The idle could still be a faulty ISCV even if its been cleaned out. Those vac lines on the PS pump werent very tight either, although that would cause a high idle not low. Vacuum leaks will cause high idle not low idle. if the idle is consitantly low it could be ignition timing aswell. Which could also cause low power and over fuelling. The very early boost cut kind of points to boost leak though, and would also account for the over fuelling and power loss.
