was a very good day
i am with phil we need a sprint day
Simon = Me...
Stupid karts and their stalling!
GT will back me up... Next time!
cameron = me
jon = datsun friend
i went there quietly confident of getting a good result, but was absolutely blown away (litterally) by the talent going round the track today.
biggest accident i think goes to the bloke with the reece plumbing t shirt on (sorry i didnt catch your name) and me catching wheels and getting stuck together for a full lap lol... apart from that it was a fairly stress free day.
kudos to yian for organising an awesome event. did anyone get foters of all the cars together in the carpark??
oh strike me up for a sprint day. theres a fun day at winton on dec 17th im planning to go to if i can get my engine happening again
It was a bloody warm day today... even in the shade. I'm glad i didn't race. Sure i'd have been competetive for a lap or two, then exhausted. Pity, it looked like fun.
Simon.

Paul... I didn't see your (or Alanna's for that matter) car there. Did I miss it, or you turn up in disguise?Originally Posted by stahlz_ae86

We were parked all the way down the end in my car. The AE71 is up on jack stands in the back yard ATM, no engine or front panels. Will update post now.
Well i'm thoroughly sunburnted. But what a great day, absolutely loved the go karting! Need to see some more photos, Huy where are ya?
Well done to Tim and Ben for 1st and 2nd position in the final race. Bbq was a nice touch, well worth teh dollahrs.
And you think that is a worthy excuse?????Originally Posted by AJ_AE82

lol i think so, after picking up that bonnet i got straight after go-karting the bloke i bought it from has a twin carb 4A-G manifold for sale. And my engine is out at the same time, coincidene or fate?
I need to get my head done on my 4A-G and new cams anyway so i could get cams to suit whatever carbs this manifold is made for (thinking between 256 and 276 duration).
Ahh zee massage chair... it does nuttin!!!!!!!!
Actually I lie... it makes u feeel great for aboot 20-30mins then teh pain returns...
God damn powah to phat ratio screwed me over... I've been to other karting places where the difference was not 3-4secs!
Was great fun, but I am surely not looking fo'ward to the morning...
