I recently got ADR approved lines for my TA22. Each front side is made up of 2 hoses with fittings, so it's essentially 4 hoses, 8 fittings for the front. The rear only has one hose above the diff, the rest to the brake cylinders is solid line. All up cost $300.
I got ADR approved ones because the car will probably be engineered.
Got them done at St Marys Brake and Clutch in NSW. They use Goodridge hose and fittings imported from the UK.

I've also got SS braided lines for my Forester. I sourced these from the UK for a third of the price (landed) I got quoted to make them up here. They are also Goodridge, but don't have the ADR sticker, so they are not legal.

Earls in Silverwater will do Race ONLY ones (non-ADR) for cheap. I think they said $40 per line.

Does anyone know where I can get the ADR standards specification data sheet?

Or what key word can I use to search for it on the Standards Online (Lucky enough to have access to it) Website?

    Cheers.

I got braided ones (ADR Legal) made up for the front brakes on my sprinter by Brakesmart - they made them one piece rather than 2 (cheaper and better in my opinion) and they were $68 per line. Quite reasonable when it costs about $40 a line for standard rubber. I think most of the variance in price is for different fittings - banjos, etc. are more expensive I think. Could I feel a difference - Hell No!! I did it for peace of mind - i didn't want 21 year old hoses splitting on me at the worst possible moment.

ZZT, if I catch the drift of your post above, are you trying to get some lines from the US and then show that they meet ADRs?

If yes then I think that would be a path filled with pain and disappointment. And really not worth it to save $100.

If not then I have misread your intention and apologise

Actually Hen, it's a substancial amount coz I'm getting 3 sets for 3 different cars in in comparison to that of getting them all made here...

I might just bite the bullet and get them made locally just for legality and safety in comparison to a huge saving...

    Cheers.
