I would agree, taking the extra 200hp out and just leaving it at 1000hp should make it much more driveable, not to mention the extra economy it will return.

But on the other hand if we steped it up to 1400 the extra would surley out way the sacrifice in economy.......................

Check a few American sites, I know that Paradise Racing has the RZ in their AE86 and I think there is a 2RZ Starlet on www.toyota3tc.com . Both cars run a front sump setup factory so may have definite info for you.

i did some searching but all my docs i use for engine weights didnt have the 3rz
im thinking it will be quite a heavy motor and box combo? im guessing your not too worried about handling?
