    Default Fuel pressure Gauge location

    G'day
seeing as i have fabbed up my own fuel rail im trying to decide where to locate the fuel pressure guage as my FPR is adjustable
Here is a diagram (attached) of how i was thinking to mount it, would this work or would i have to mount it before/after all the injectors?

It should work like that its just i dont have alot of room between Fuel rails firewalls and brake MCs etc

Any info on Pressure gauge location would be helpful
    Cheers

doesnt matter really - pressure should equalise

does the FPR have an acc port for a gauge?

i'd suggest mounting the FPR on the firewall or guard-arch.

Things like malpassi's are alleged to fall apart from excessive vibration, and some guy on performance forums had an alloy part on a rail-mounted FPR crack while driving resulting in major engine fire to a genuine sierra-cosworth-turbo.

ALso, there's no fuel-flow requirement to have the FPR attached to the fuel rail and most have two inlet ports - one taking fuel from the rail, the other to suit a guage.

FPR goes after the injectors (e.g. tank->pump->filter->rail->fpr->tank).

Pic of how mine is mounted on firewall:

Mine has only one inlet/outlet so i guess i will just whack on a T peice
The idea of mounting that was was to try to save some dollars on speedflow fittings, although it looks like i may be sticking to conventional tubing now so it may not matter
