well Im back from 2 weeks holiday to find all the tube parts here so started putting it together on monday night after work, taken a couple more evenings lots of hours but its all done and looks like it should work pretty well
i ended up designing it from scratch keeping it close to the block making sure there was a clear path for the oil drain and the turbo outlet etc.
the turbo is an HKS 2540 and sits slightly lower and sticks out slightly less than the standard twins

I actually have an HKS 2540 on my car (well not at the moment - another story). I reckon that will work well on the 1G. I would like to know how it goes once on and sorted. My car makes boost from 1700rpm and has buckets of power from 4000 to 7000rpm, so would be nice to compare notes.

cool i figoured it should be a pretty good turbo for the 1gg, it may be a little while b4 its all running as its all going into an e30 bmw which im still driving atm so the whole conversion is yet to be done, will keep you posted
PS if anyone wants a manifold like this $750 and ill do another one
$750 is an absolute bargain for a manifold like that in stainless.
