I will still be getting one. No cash at the moment though anyway. Probably go NZ direct unless there is somewhere cheaper.

I was hoping to get some interest on the Supra forums but unfortunately too many people on there are addicted to their big-name stickers rather than actual function and value.

Got absolutely 0 interest on performance forums, that seemed a bit strange to me. Perhaps Im just not well known enough over there and people thought I was gonna rip them off.
I used to eat alot of natural foods. That was until I learned that most people died of natural causes.

Yeah, it is. Same as the one Autronic sells too.

So basically they all should hold the boost at the same levels. I like the eboost2, because it also shows vacum, and has more features. If i didnt allready have a autometer boost guage i would def contemplate an eboost2.

You pay a lot more for the Eboost2, not for the solenoid, thats a very simple device. The controller and the control algorithms are what makes it what it is. My Gizzmo had HUGE problems controlling my boost. My Eboost2 doesn't at all. I'm not even using half of the features either, but things like the shift buzzer etc. are all really nice.

Gizzmo are opening in an office/warehouse in Melbourne around late November and will be up and running and open to the public in Early December - so it might be worth waiting.

Sorry to sound rude... but waiting for what exactly? A better price?

I am just waiting for 2jza70 to let me know. It isn't a group buy though anymore I don't think.

Maybe you had a faulty solenoid/gizzmo, as its holding 20psi dead flat for me.

    Lots of reasons..

    1. Local back up and support - speak directly to them with any concerns people have BEFORE they buy...

    2. Opening specials and free bonuses maybe ??

    3. Easier to arrange Group Buys if that it your thing

but hey, if you need it now and have the money now, - rip on into your local Autobarn and grab one.. You can't go wrong.....

My comments were directed to those people that said they didn't have the money now, but were very keen.. for them, there is a chance that they may get a better deal if they wait anyway.

See - my dilemma is that i've just gotten my 1J working and badly want to up the boost. I already have a hyperboost controller that I could install in the mean time... but from what I hear, setting up a boost controller on a 1J is something that you only want to do once

    My options are

    1. Install the hyperboost bleed valve in engine bay, up boost and do skids then buy a Gizzmo later and redo all over again in a month or so

    or

    2. Spend the extra now, buy a Gizzmo and set it up once... do skids but miss out on freebies, specials, cheaper price etc

    HELP ME DECIDE!
