so the hubcentric ring is that the "MX83 hubcentric ring" mentioned in the first post to that fits on the MZ21, will that be correct for the JZA70 or would something else need to be used?Originally Posted by CrUZida

Yes, it should be the same as the MX83/BA conversion hub centric ring.

$1800, hahaOriginally Posted by RORZ_JZA70
OMG, where are u getting them from.
That is severely overpriced.
I wouldnt pay more then $1200 for a full set of r33 GTR stuff. Hard to find, but no more then that. For around 3000k, you can get the Brembos of a 350z Track.
R32 GTR stuff (Sumitomos without the veines) will come to about $500
I havnt seen the r33 GTR rears, but i cant imagine them being to different from the r32 gtr rears. Design didnt change too much when Brembo picked up the Nissan GTR stuff.
But $1800 is WAY to high
Find me a place that sells them for $1200.
EVERYWHERE I've looked has been OVER $2000 for a full set of R33 Brembo gear.
EDIT: on the Nissan forums I've seen MOST people ask more than $1800 for JUST the front calipers.

Here we have, R34 GTR Fronts for $1500.
http://www.justjap.com/parts_ubrakes.htm
Walk in with a wad of cash, and im sure they would go for below that.
Rears would be around 200-300 i guess...
But yeah, I know they are hard to find, but for $1800 there are better options out there IMO.
How different is the R33 GTR Brembos to the R34 Brembos? They use the same size rotor don't they, and the 350Z Track stuff is straight from the R34...

I'm with Viper though, for $1800, i'd be spending $1500 on a set of new AP Racing calipers ala GT and sort something else out for the rears.

All of a sudden $1500 for the R34 calipers by themselves seems like a crappy deal.
$200-$300 for brembo rears with pads and rotors? I dont think so mate. Even if they were that cheap you'd have a hard time finding some that aren't in a set.Originally Posted by Viper
I didn't just decide one day that I wanted brembo brakes from a 33 V-spec. At the time of purchase which was quite a few months ago they were the best and most complete braking system at that price. Plus I was able to buy caliper rebuild kits for the brembos quite cheaply through my local Nissan dealer. As soon as I get the fronts back they'll be rebuilt and painted like the rears and should be as good as new.
As for new AP Racing calipers they would be good also. The thing is tho that calipers are just the start.
Have a look at http://www.uniqueautosports.com/ Go to parts catalouge, then GTR parts, then braking. Here you will see that once you add rotors, pads, etc etc these "bargain" calipers end up costing over $3k once you have them fitted to the front of your car and you still have std rear brakes.... You'd then have front to rear bias issues.
I got my brakes from the skylines australia forums.Originally Posted by zombie
I think the R34 caliper is slightly different but they are very similar. R34's run 355mm rotors where as the R33's run 324mm rotors. However you can see in Cruz's pics that my R33 calipers fit perfectly with the FPV 355mm rotors.Originally Posted by JustCallMeFrank
$3000 for brakes from a 350Z/R34 is hardly a great deal when you consider the R33 brakes are $1800 and the difference between the two wouldn't be that great especially when the R33 calipers are mounted on the same size rotors as the R34's. If you're going to spend that sort of money Id be going with something like the Porsche Cup brembo package on the unique auto sports site..... Granted the package is for GTR's but they are in a different league to the 350Z/R34 calipers and they are a complete kit with brackets, lines and big rotors.Originally Posted by viper
Yes, that is a great deal.Originally Posted by RORZ_JZA70
Previous posts where just for brakes, nothing about pads and rotors was ever mentioned.
I was just talkign about calipers themselves.
$1800 for the package is really smashing and braking it down (), rotors ~$300, pads ~$200, meaning calipers ~$1300
So yes, great deal. (Just stabbing at prices, but probably no where near what they are worth)
I was merely showing that people parting with their hard earned money for overpriced 'Skyrine' equipment is quite silly.
But anyway, taking this way way oftopic.
Back to the brackets!!!
No, the R34 has 324mm rotors too. As does the 350Z. Yes, I will attest your calipers look good on those rotors, and i've seen them in personOriginally Posted by RORZ_JZA70
