you want a dizzy of a late model bigport or a smallport 4age or a 4agze dizzy/cas. early bigport dizzys are no good for coil on plug setups
I'm wanting to install an NZ coil of plug setup on my 4age. Im running a microtech lt-9c with 4 ignite signal outputs so the ignition side of things is fine, but im having trouble trying to work out the cas signals to run to the ecu. I've blanked off the original dizzy but now I think I might have the wrong one for the job. Im pretty sure is a big port 24 tooth bottom wheel with the 4 tooth wheel for piston position. See photos below. Can give me advice on how I can fix this whether it would be grinding all but one tooth of the 24 tooth whee-dizzy.jpgdizzy1.jpgl or can I obtain a dizzy with the 4 tooth a single tooth tdc and fit it easily to my engine?

Yep I've just realised this.. Should of researched a bit better before investing time and cash into the change over.. would a later model dizzy just be a direct bolt on? Or would I have to do some modifying to fit it? you wouldn't know of where the best place to find one would be?
direct fit just gotta wire it up. best place would be to find someone wrecking an SX corolla or parting out an engine from an SX corolla (smallport 4AGE)
