Well the measurements are as follows.

the master cylinder has to be 140mm or shorter, bolt pattern 60mm vert, 17mm or greater bore. Its hard to find such a short one. Thats the only problem. Cant seem to find a length on the Rover '88 model one.

I knew $303 is expensive, but it did take him almost a full day to find one he said. I went back over to his workshop and had a chat, Said he could do it for a bit cheaper than quoted. Well a fair bit cheaper so i gave him the go ahead. I had wanted to do it myself but i'm not too sure if i could get it done for cheaper, and it would also take me a while sourcing the parts.

I have a driving day booked on 29th of this month so it needs to be on the road before then!
I dont like my chances but least it might have a chance of getting there!

hey i know its an old thread but the older squarer mazda 323 and meteor from late 70's, early 80's has a boosted dual circuit master cylinder with:

    60mm 2 bolt vertical flange
short in length at around 120mm?
    wide reservoir at around 50mm?

Hey Bretto , if your stil looking i have a master out of a 82 ford meteor 9 (prob same as laser/323 of same vintage ) it's a 11/16 , has same 60mm 2 bolt vertical flange and so far , from the limited driveway brake applications i've done seems to fill up my r32 skyline calipers , worth a look at , they have them at A.T.A.P . brand new for under a hundred bucks

hey and theres the man that discovered this dual circuit bolt in!

i actually ended up going a gc galant at 3/4 inch (19.05mm) for my ke25
    with the ke55/ke70 brakes.

its very slim and has seperate reservoir tanks for each circuit.

    all early galant masters are:
    dual circuit
    60mm 2 bolt flange
    seperate reservoir tanks
    slim and long
    connections up top

there are 17.46mm, 19.05mm and 20.64mm bores avaliable
