crap, you drop an alloy scale and it can be out plenty! thats without even putting the car on it. Thats the diffrence between people that know and people that have a stab in the dark!

Besides the fact that that is the worst backyard practice that i have ever heard of! real racers like to know the all up weight. Real races put in or take out 5 litres of fuel to get things right!

Easy, race scales need calibrating often depending on how much they are used! you drop a scale on the floor you can put them out a fair bit.
Dosnt take them to be out much and you set the car up to suit the bad scales corner weight and you will have a problem with handling.
Lol Targa is a road race on diffrent surfaces and diffrent conditions, you dont set a targa car up like you do a circuit car, unless you keep doing it every day. Targa cars are pretty ruff compared to circuit cars.
