Took me a couple of times too... but I'm pretty sure it was just a lack of information on my part.

Worth it once I got approved though

I fully support a strict membership 'scan' sorta thing though. I think that (combined with restricting certain desirable things... like selling... to those who have been here a while) makes toymods what it is. A helpful forum without a bunch a wankers *ahem... nissan*

latley there have been huge lists of approvals, a couple of hundred in 3 or 4 days isn't unusual. When each one has to get checked individually, it takes a little while and the whole mod board are just busy we life.

So we just ask that ppl put all the required information in so that they get approved straight up and a little patience cause we will get to them.

I'll answer this one. No you did not include all of the details. In fact your current profile doesn't include all of the details either so I do not know why you were approved at all.

One of the things that gets people denied instantly is not following the instructions, the instructions say "Name first and last" if I see only one name it will get canned. If people can't follow simple instructions why would we assume they can make a worthwhile contribution to the forums?

    What a happy attitude
I used to eat alot of natural foods. That was until I learned that most people died of natural causes.

It comes from going through several thousand sign ups where people can't be bothered following the instructions.

well im pretty sure i did follow the instructions, its not that i couldn't be bothered following them either because i tried to register numerous times.
I was trying to point out a problem that i had to make it easier for other not yet members trying to register.

I don't see what the problem with giving some details is, it does keep lazy people off the forums or some people that won't read faq's (since they can't read instruction) off the forum.

On our forum, we require a contact number (that other users can't see) and we call you to confirm (unless we know you) and then store it on a separate db for future reference . Although this wouldnt work very well if you have hundreds of users waiting to be confirmed
