    Interesting - I would have thought that as it was sold as throttle body and carbie cleaner nowdays that it would be OK...

    I had the exact same problem with a conversion.
    car would never idle.......it would rev laggy somewhat like a missfire.....i thought it was ISCV but I did a compression test just to be certain.
    cyl1: 50psi
    cyl2: 65
    cyl3:150
    cyl4:55

    the rebuild is almost done.....hope to have it started within the next few days.

    Just run through some checks and narrow it down
    Get a stock AFM and try that
    (Check for vacuum leaks) most likely this one!
    Check fault codes from ecu
    Check Idle control valve
    Sparkplugs + Leads
    Throttle Body could be sticky
    vzv21 camry 2vzfe v6 - aka mr burble or white one

    these days new cars more often have coated butterflies

    i have heard this can cause probs in fords too

    if u use a too strong cleaner on butterflies

    anyway hows the idle goin

    you can always bring it up to sydney and i can have a look at it

    Default anyone have a 20v vacuum diagram?

    kinda going somewhere else with this but since it is kindof on topic i didn't wanna make a new thread.

    so is there one 'cause i'm havong problems finding it

    (edit:.. perhaps if the carby cleaner contained Fluorinert FC-40 or FC-75... but i highly doubt that... got proof the throttle are coated with teflon and not something else?)

    might not be teflon but ive heard and seen people stuff butterflies by doin this

    ahh, maybe nylon or similar then.... from what i can see, my 20V throttles are not coated with anything except with dirt and oil
    i'll see if i can have a look at some of the nissan ones..
