Default Need a few answers for info on g series diff

I have a g295 out of an ma70 supra and i want to install it into my lexus ls400's g 922 carrier
will it fit considering the supra diff is a 4 pinion lsd and the ls400's diff is a 2 pinion and will i be able to swap crownwheels or would they not match up

I recently swapped the internals from a MA70 4 pinion LSD into my Cressida 2 pinion open centre housing and it was a direct fit. In your case I think it is likely it will fit however you may need to swap bearings, Check the part numbers between the supra and the ls400.

The supra and the cressida used the exact same part numbers.

BTW Where are you located? And the LS400 diff code doesnt make much sense.

    Axle Codes

Nope, G922 is not a valid axle code.

[OT] interesting that they tried to do codes for the A/B series, given the depth of argument we've had here on the lack of consistancy from toyota on theese diff codings [/OT]

Yes, the Celsior/LS400 diff code does not exist in ANY documentation I've found.

Surprising the aussie delivered has a G922, coz my Celsior has a G924.

assuming the aussie codes are wrong and G92x is meant to be G29x, the 922 and 924 would be the same ratio g-series diff, but one with LSD (924) and one without (922).. can you guys verify if I'm talking out my arse?

i was told if the half shafts are the same then the centre should fit would that just be the outside diameter of the shaft or the flange aswell and anyone got an idea of price for putting the lsd centre only into my diff using the standard crownwheel if possible
