Possibly in the loom, the auto's rely on the same ECU or seperate? I am definately after an auto. CVAP has a 2JGE without loom and ECU.

Prvt msg me how much ou would be after.

Auto ecu is intergrated into engine ecu.
    You'll need an auto loom.

regarding the compressor. The 1j into MX83 required only swapping the cover plate off the top oif the compressor where the stock MX83 hoses attached.Made it nice and easy as altering hoses is a pain.It may be that simple?

    nudge my rep please...........

I have just put a JZA80 2JZGE into an MX83. The plate off the 7M air con compressor fitted the 2JZ compressor but I had to cut away part of the power steering pump mounting bracket to clear the lines.

correct you have to cut the p/s braket to clear , much better to get custom lines made .

I had to cut away that part of the bracket with the screw thread in it . Was no big deal really. I cut away part of the pump housing so i could use a nut instead. Here are the mods I had to make to fit the 2JZGE speed sensor to the MX83 ABS rotor and MX83 extension housing which I fitted to the 2JZGE transmission . ABS rotor has had 4 slots cut into it for the speed sensor.

From memory most of the people with 1JZGTEs didnt have to cut away parts of the bracketry to fit the pump and MX83 aircon piping. Now, if im using 1JZGTE aircon/ps would i have to cut them away too?

My conversion is going well. The only issues I have is the cruise control does not work and I have no kickdown switch which is not really a problem. I think I may need another connection to the ECU for the cruise to work. ABS works ok.
