+1 to dumbass, just don't do it. Unless maybe you get it running. Better run ecu under hood and relocate battery somewhere in the boot

or atleast get it running properly before u extend wiring so u know its all good
    then extend the wires
cause if it doesnt run right from scratch and u have extended the wiring
then where do u go looking

the later the motor the more wires they have
so its not easy like extending a pissy 4ag loom

I've been hooking into the wiring of the jzx110 into my mx83 and thought I'd ask for a bit of help with the multiplex stuff and a couple of other questions as the mx83 doesn't have any of that junk.

Apologies if any of this has been covered before, i searched but couldn't find it easily.

    Alternator / Oil pressure Switch

The alternator charge light and oil pressure switch appears to go directly to the ecu and is fed to the dash via multiplex output pins? Can i splice into the wire and run a new one to the mx83 pin in the body harness?

    Tacho

Comes from the ecu, will i need a tacho booster to get it to run?

    Orange Plug

The o2 sensor shielding and a few other sensor shielding is fed into the orange plug. Should I earth these? or what is the best thing to do with them? Yellow wire is one of them in the pic below.

Dash Temp Gauge / Thermo Fan

I'm going to cut one of the radiator hoses and add in a piece with the threads for the sensors to slot into.

    Speedo

Is the SPD pin on the ecu the output for the speedo? Any tips / things I'll need to do to get this going?

    Physical Mounting of ECU

Keen to see if anyone has pics of the ecu + wiring mounted up behind the glovebox.

    My Notes / Pinout Trace

My general notes which might help someone, they aren't the easiest to follow but i get them and it might help someone so here you go...

I'm sure there will be a couple of other questions later on, but thanks for reading and your time.
what is RDEF and where do it go?

My problem ..my A/C not working the pre ws is ok.. I think the A/C ecu not talking to the jzs171 ecu # 89661--3A870
my outside temperature display E. Do the RDEF have to do with my ecu not outputting a negative to turne on the ACMG

A/C MIGHT work if you have connected JZS171 ecu to the multiplex

What have you got connected to pins 21 and 10 in the 28 pin plug and 18 on the 24 pin plug and 18 on the 22 pin plug? What colours are these wires?

JZS171 / JZX110 digital commands (MPX) are not compatible
However I have a hardware solution for that

I would have expected pin 18 on the 22 pin plug to be grey/black which should be connected to the multiplex . On my plug the green/red wire is on pin 15 and not connected by me .The brown wire should go to the other side of the temp sensor.

Pin 2 on my plug is black/yellow and is AMCG and goes to the A/C relay . I have no wire to pin 9 on the 28 pin plug and do not know what that is. Pin 29 on the 31 pin plug should be grey and goes to the sensor on the a/c compressor.
