MX83 Vvti 1jz lack of power.

Hi guys,

So my car was working all great, took it out drifting, mid-slide i lost boost and response. Car still drives but boost doesn't kick in instantly, it takes time and if i floor it, it will boost but very slowly and only goes up to 10psi as opposed to 18psi. What are the symptoms of rear turbine wheel blades breaking?

Nah that was the VVti solenoid. I replaced that and the problem went away.

sorry didn't realise "loss of power" and "lack of power" weren't the same thing

How would this be off topic?
If you had actually fixed the particular loss of power that thread referenced then why are you still fielding answers in it as of yesterday and being too ignorant to say it is fixed and give the information for others to benefit from??

Problem hasn't been fixed, car still overheats and as a result is a lack of power unrelated to this issue - Hence, never updated it because the problem was never fixed. PM me your number and i'll go do a burnout for you now and take a video of it overheating.
