i went out thursday last year - was heaps more relaxing...
There are quite a few people out there the extra night - so ya wont be on your own.

If you have a car that you are going to spend alot of time cleaning, then it is great to get up and do it fri morning, rather than getting there at 2pm and starting then - right when you should be cracking you first beer!!!

I'm out this year though.. too much going on, and the car just isnt coming together as hoped - and im not doin what i did last year, the damage is the reason its not back together.... so have a good one... and ill be back next year...

i am rostered on the fri, sat and sun this year.... one of my co-workers offereded to work it if i was taking the car... but its a bit harsh to ask someone to work my public holidays for me, when i get paid 30% more than her - cos i work the public hols, just to drink beers....

plus spectating sucks lol.... next year i hope to have crcked 500rwhp.... and maybe even have run a few passes to make sure it will hold together!!!!

besides - now your engine bay is so pretty... i might need another round of mods!!!!

Heaps of roadworks last week on the great western to Lithgow, Bells line was better.

Thursday is the go too just makes the Friday so much more relaxing.

yeah that sucks. I've got the whole 4 days off, because of leave. I'm rostered on thurs, friday, sat and Sunday. I just got in early and my crew look after me. I work Christmas etc for them if they need leave, as they have kids. I get my beer drinking car weekend at Easter.

Woohoo only 4 weeks to go guys n gals, sorry I haven't been on here yet, we've been so busy. Firstly a big thanks to Steve, Jonathon & Stew for answering questions and passing on all the info. You guys rock . We're on Facebook as well these days so getting info out has never been so easy. If you haven't joined us on fb yet, then please do so.


So far we're on track for another awesome wknd, Sat show'n'shine & motorkhana, Sunday drags & pres dinner. This year we have a few changes to the judging & for the first time, you, the entrants will also be judging some categories ( thanks for the great idea to the Spoot Racing boys, kudos to you ). All will be revealed at the Friday night "welcome dinner"

We'll be running a brekkie bbq on the Saturday morning basically bacon & egg rolls with sauce for approx $3-. Bbq's will also be running at the motorkhana and most likely the drags.

So please get your forms in asap, cutoff (for trophy eligibilty) is;

Monday 11th March.

If you aren't sure by then if your car will make it please email, facebook, call us and let us know whats happening. we're here to make sure you can make it to the event.

In the meantime, take it easy and we hope to see you in Dubbo.
