Yeah pretty much eh. It was a wild drive years ago in RWD form, itching to get a drive in AWD guise!

What a fantastic weekend away! Kudos to the organisers, everythink went like clockwork. An extremely well organised event from the registration and sign in to the brekky at the back of the Motel on Sat morning all done perfectly. The various car clubs that ran the drags and the Motorkhana all did a sterling job.
Anyone who has never been, you are missing out on a top class event.
cheers Chuck.

Always the best weekend of the year with the car and good to catch up with everyone again.
Working through the few photos and videos I have and will post links soon. Anybody else have footage they are posting up?

The trek out there was way better than last year, minimal traffic, and for the first time I entered all the events too seeing as I had a working toyota for once... Got a 10.87 in the 1/8th mile drags, which was 0.6sec slower than the fastest stock toyota 86. Nothing special either way but still good fun taking the car all the way out to 8200rpm
In the motorkhana I fared a bit better, I ended up ninth overall out of 33 or so entrants. not bad for an adub with floppy suspension, bald 300 treadwear tyres and no wheel alignment
some pics...
Shenanigans
Spoot Racing/Toymods had a group presence at all the events over the weekend, which was nice to see
Ryan getting taped to something, just like every other year
Drag racing woo!
The missus and some other rather unsightly fellow
The adub doing what it was always meant to do
8000rpm plus sidepipe = win
9500rpm + sideways = ear-bleeding win
More people should come to toyota nationals. It is a fantastic event and not enough people give it the credit it deserves! More pics later tonight if I have time

Awesome times as always.
I somehow fanged the sportivo to 2nd in the motorkhana
Also looking at the video of Ness's first run in the Corona, there was no going easy, foot went straight to the floor as quick as she could move it when the light went green....
