Washed mine yesterday so hopefully it'll only need a quick one by the weekend. Fitting new hubs and bearings between now and friday (when I already have commitments each night) so hopefully all goes smoothly.
Just sent my forms through.
Time to get polishing!

Evening Folks. Sorry I have been absent with the important information that you are all craving, I have been busy:
Painting and rebuilding a TA63 Celica,
Painting and completing an ST204 Celica,
Painting and completing an AE101 Corolla Levin,
Installing a new motor and transmission into an RT40 Corona and,
Installing a new battery into an MS57 Crown wagon.
Unfortunately, I have lost the time needed to complete the ST205, so that one will have to wait for next year, among others!
Event information for Toyotas in the Park 2012:
REGISTRATIONS: We have approximately 55 registration forms thus far, which puts us on track as per last year. You are still welcome to enter on the day of the show too - simply turn up with your car and fill in the registration form handed to you however your pre entry helps us better plan for the day allowing us to produce a better show for you. Remember, you can pre register and not turn up on the day - we understand life happens and sometimes attending an event is beyond your control. Doing this will also give us contact details for you, for other events you may wish to consider attending. Please go to the Toyotas in the Park Webpage here and read the information contained. If you agree to the information, you can find an entry form here. For those of you not internet or computer savvy, please call me on 0403 733 054 for alternate entry arrangements.
PLATE PROTECTORS:We will again commision a print run of plate protectors for the show. These prints will be on thick gloss paper and available at $1ea for anyone interested - please contact me if you would like to be included in the print run this Friday. For those of you requesting "plate protectors", please specify exactly how many you want - ie, you will need two if you wish to cover both front and rear plates! See the below for a sample:
ARRIVAL: We will have registration desks open from 7am till 10am for your arrival. Entry to the Western end of the Langley Park grass will be via Terrace Road. There is a low driveway entrance which will have the registration desks set up beside it. Sarah and Lauren has donated their time on those desks - let them know if you have pre registered or need a rego form. Once registered, we will hand you a show bag packed with goodies for the day and longer term. Move forward and take a position on the grass you are happy with. While we won't have any hard and fast rules on who people park next too, we also don't really want a dozen cars of the same model in a row. I know when this happens I tend to skip over them and move onto more eclectic displays. We have a heap of space to use so please consider NOT parking together in lines alongside each other - we want to see people mingle around the cars so consider parking at odd angles to cars near you. Also consider a photographer's perspective when parking up - the city skyline, the Bell Tower and the Swan River can all add interest to a photo including your car in the foreground.
CAR TRAILERS/TRANSPORTERS: are also welcome and requested to park to the left of the entry driveway once unloaded.
BRING:
Sunscreen, hats and shade shelters
Seats, picnic rugs
Display features and paraphernalia associated with your car
Food and Drink for the day - we have again invited Tim the Icecream Man, he has both coffe and icecream available for purchase and we do encourage you to support him as he has kindly agreed to attend our event free of charge to the organisers. You may also like to consider visiting the nearby City of Perth: Festival of Lights being held at the Supreme Court Gardens at the same time and day, for food and drink goodies.
We will have a roaming microphone on the day and will address general housekeeping (toilets, timing, dos and don'ts, ...)prior to the show start time of 10am. We will also recognise Armistice Day at 11am. Some light hearted competition will also transpire over the airwave from time to time.
OK, that is the broad strokes from me, please feel free to contact me directly on 0403 733 054 if you have any further questions? I look forward to seeing you all at the show on the day?!

Hi Clint,
Would you happen to have a fax number or word version of the entry form?
Looking on track to have car back together in time.
Luckily the event is on at the same time as the telethon kids carnival so wont have to leave early with grumpy little ones again.
Posters and leaflets dropped off at New Town and Galleria Toyota, and a post on the FT86 forum.
Looks like I might have an 86 on loan from Galleria to bring as well as my TA22.

Just found out Toyota celebrates it's 75th anniversary this month - so let's make it a good one.
I'm gonna see if I can find a TOYOTA and Happy 75th banner of some sort.
SPIDA's washed and waxed, picked-up the Galleria 86 (thanks Peter) and just got to pack the ute with the TECCWA gear. One more sleep (as if!)
