Winton 6hr - Participant and volunteer call out.

Hey Guys,

A few points -

We have only had about 5 payments for the shirts/caps come through. It would be really dissapointing if we couldn't get enough to go ahead with the order. Slim has put in many hours on the designs, many emails and phone calls with various screen printers to find the best price vs quality, suitability of garments, etc, etc. We got the feedback from you guys, so now we need to you to follow through... If anyone else reading this thread wants to support the team and buy a shirt or cap - SPEAK UP!

Reminder - Test and Tune - Trackday on Friday at Winton. $120 I believe. We'll be leaving early to grab some pits. Bring your helmet. If you cannot make it - Ensure your car is sorted well before the event and try and get to another day if possible. I believe it could require a cams L2S licence. Scruit details may need clarification - Fire extinguisher may be required, bonnet lockdown for front opening bonnets, extra throttle spring, no oil leaks, etc Call Winton Raceway for more details if required - (Link below)

If i'm forced to ride my bike round to people's houses to gather orders/money then i'll be pissed off. No-body wants to see me when i'm pissed off. I get all stabby and my trigger finger starts to itch.

Seriously though, we need to get it sorted soon. We're talking about $1500 worth of merchandise here. Ed and I can't front that kind of money if all we have is a bunch of "maybes".
It can't be left much longer either or the order won't get done in time. PM Ed with your intentions whatever they are (only shirt and hat related intentions though... nothing suss).

I'm not going on Friday but i think there's a few crazy people leaving at 4:30am so that they can get there early enough to secure a spot under cover in the pits.

I picked up the hats today. They look good. Here's a couple of pics.



We have 20 caps in total. Half with the red dragon, the rest with a blue dragon.
8 Large, 10 Medium and 2 Small.
Some have been purchased and spoken for already, i'll have to check with Ed to see what's actually left.
It's a case of first in best dressed.

Lol! Oscar's response to a 4.30 ish leave time was one of disagreement. I think his words were "Get f#$ked! 4.30!" .

The caps do look good! I've got confirmation on about 9 sold - All med and large. (Slim - I emailed you a list of current shirts and caps sold). The Rising sun team bought 4 - So, we'll give them all the same colour. Doesn't leave to many after that.

Most of you have paid for the shirts now...Still a couple of people I have to send slim to. If anyone wants a shirt and hasn't spoken, this is your final chance. We won't be ordering spares. Order goes in tomorrow morning.

Ok, a couple of things Im stressing about that hopefully someone can clear up for me.

My car is predominantly a road car and therefore I have...

Got my fixed back bucket in, proper rails etc, but I have no harness at this point....Will this be an issue for this day on sunday (i havent been able to get much from the guys)

Also, I have no roll cage...will this be an issue for this sunday...? I know its ok for the 6 hr to not have one.

I will have harness in and functioning by 6hr.
